Hey Everyone!

Working on the next blog post titled “Broken Love” and how we all love broken, but I’m taking a break from writing and twenty million other things to update you all on a few things and ask you to join me in something that has been bubbling up from my heart.

First the Updates:

Sweet Brooklyn (or Brookie Cookie, or Cookie) is doing great! She weighs over 14 pounds now, and is developing right along with her adjusted age of six months and she brings so much joy to all of us! I LOVE HER!!!

My dad is now on hospice for stage 4 Lymphoma cancer. Back in March, his oncologist made that recommendation. It took him a while to agree but he finally made the decision to let hospice care for him. Continued prayers for my dad and our family is so appreciated. He has a relationship with Jesus, and when Billy Graham passed away, my dad said he wanted to go be with Jesus and Billy. We know it’s not on our time frame but the Lord’s and we place our wholehearted trust in Him.

Now Join Me in Kindling Kindness

With everything going on in our world (but we know God is in control), I want to inspire and encourage kindness. I’m inviting everyone to join me in sharing on my Life Over Coffee Facebook  page  or in the comments of this blog where you saw, received or offered kindness. The ideas are limitless and don’t have to be extravagant. If you end up taking a photo of the kindness, you can reply in the comments on the post and insert the pic or please email me at [email protected] so I can post the pic on the page.

Thus Says the Lord

“Thus says the Lord of hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another, (Zec. 7:9, ESV)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, (Galatians 5:22)

“He who withholds kindness from a friend forsakes the fear of the Almighty. (Job 6:14)

Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honor. (Proverbs 21:21)

She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. (Proverbs 31:26)

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

The native people showed us unusual kindness, for they kindled a fire and welcomed us all,  (Acts 28:2)
