But joy isn’t just found when we reach the milestone or the finish line—it’s woven into our everyday. The quiet moments, the lessons learned, the mistakes made, the uncomfortable places we find ourselves, the things that surprise us and in the things we least expect.
When our paths seem unclear, or our circumstances are not what we had hoped, finding joy in those journeys is where we grow, heal, discover and eventually become the person God has created us to be. And while we are on the journey, joy is always present because true joy is not dependent on our circumstances. True joy is rooted in our trust and belief that each moment matters. Each moment can be rooted in gratitude that can be celebrated, even if we don’t have all the answers yet. Even if we aren’t to our destination and we aren’t sure which road to take, there is still joy.
Joy is right there with you as life happens, in your daily walk with the Lord, in your honest prayers, in the quiet trust and in the unshakeable hope that you have because God is with you every step of the way. Joy is found in knowing you are not alone in the slow, small, courageous changes you make as you grow. Joy is found as you deepen your worship of a present, loving, faithful God whose love for you becomes more real.
As you journey with God, you no longer strive and control—you find His rest. You no longer chase validation from others—you now walk in confidence of who you are in Christ. You no longer carry the burden of not being enough or being too much because you know you are His and that is enough!
You are loved with a perfect love, even if life doesn’t seem fair, even though things are HARD, and even when your flesh is weak. And in that love, there is healing, freedom and most importantly joy overflowing.
