As I was writing the book, there were days when doubt seriously creeped into the writing process. The task felt too big, and my confidence felt way too small. The imposter syndrome was looming large and at times kept me from sitting down and getting words on the page.
But God…knew there would be days when doubt crept in and when the task felt too much, and my confidence was nonexistent. But God wasn’t worried, He knew what He had asked me to do, and He knew He had equipped me to do it.
I heard his words: you got this. Take heart, you are not perfect, but Christ is in you, and He is perfect and is powerful in you.
I found comfort in the promise from Philippians 4:13, a HUGE reminder that I wasn’t facing the big task of completing the book alone.
His strength showed up when mine ran out.
His grace covered me when things were out of my control.
His power got me over the finish line when it all seemed impossible.
He did it for me – He will do it for you!
So, breathe deep. Take the next step.
Face the challenge. Keep showing up.
You got this,
Because He’s got you.
