The Big Reveal!

When I was in my early thirties, my husband and I were playing a round of golf with several of our friends from church. The nine hole, short course was fun but also challenging. I stepped up to the tee to drive the ball to the green. Looking into the setting sun behind the green made it hard to see the pin. I swung the club for my first shot and my hand went to my forehead to shade the sunlight so I could see where my ball landed. Scanning the horizon trying to see if I was near the pin, the three men golfing with me started to yell and I turned to see what all the commotion was about. A lot of cheers, and what just happened and I can’t believe it told me that I had a hole in one! I couldn’t believe it! As fast as I could, I grabbed my clubs and raced to the pin! It was true! My ball was in the hole!

We headed into the clubhouse to log my claim to fame and join the tradition that the golfer who gets the hole in one  pays for free drinks for everyone!

So what does this have to do with the Big Reveal?

While I won’t be actually paying for free drinks you’d get in the clubhouse from the hole in one claim to fame, I am hoping you will help yourself to the free drinks of blog posts at my new Life Over Coffee Blog! I’ll blog about life, faith, relationships, community, parenting, jobs and what God is inviting me into. And, it will seem just like real life as if we were sitting and chatting over coffee.

I’ll be mixing it up with posts from some of my favorite bloggers (always fun to read),  devotionals and resources to encourage and help each of us discover our best self. More importantly I will be including posts that will help us renew our minds and transform our thinking as we seek to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus (2 Peter 3:18).

I have completed all my training and am now a Certified Transformation Coach through Western Seminary and an Associate Credited Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation.

My work as a coach is with women, people in ministry and non-profit settings who are looking to make movement forward in areas of spiritual health, physical health, life, relationships, career, leadership and more.

A Final Big Reveal!

The final big reveal is that I am writing a non-fiction book!  The book idea came about because I wanted to help my new friend who had just become a believer grow in her relationship with Jesus. I searched for a resource that would help me guide her and nothing fit. So I began to write about it. One of my blog posts called Evidence of Transformation is the basis for the book. I am really excited to write it! Look for opportunities as followers of this blog to give your feedback on chapters in the book in the future! I’ll keep you posted!
